Tiong precast plants in Myanmar and Singapore.

Tiong
Seng Group (TSG) is a reputable home-grown building construction and civil
engineering company. Started as a sub-contractor firm in 1959, the company had
since grown to be a leading contractor that provides architectural consultation
and turnkey construction. TSG had expanded out of Singapore and had businesses
in regional countries such as Vietnam and Laos and also in China. In 2010, the
company officially became public listed on Singapore Stock Exchange.

With
a consistent track record, TSG is awarded by the Building and Construction
Authority (BCA) of Singapore with the highest grading for building and civil
engineering. The Singapore Quality Award (SQA) was awarded to Tiong Seng Construction,
a subsidiary firm. This makes the firm to be the first construction builder to
receive this prestigious award. In 2009, the TSG is awarded the inaugural Built
Environmental Leadership Award by BCA for the company effort in shaping
Singapore’s built environment.

The
company is constantly innovating and adopting new technology to improve the efficiency
of construction. TSG uses precast building technique in construction. The
company owns two precast plants in Myanmar and Singapore. Robin Village
Development Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary is known for
unconventional precast design and had earned many accolades in projects. The
benefits of precast allowed a significant reduction in construction time,
automation reduces the reliance on manual work, reduces on-site storage space
and improving buildability and quality.

TSG
had also championed many practices to reduce the impact of construction work
have on the environment. The innovation of mobile recycling system at
construction sites helps to recycle the water for other construction use while decreasing
the amount of silt released into the drainage systems. The company earned the
BCA Best Practice Award in 2006 and the Public Utility Board Water Mark Award
from the initiative. The company had also adopted Cobiax technology as part of
the green effort. This technology allows a drastic reduction in carbon dioxide
emission due to a decrease in unnecessary deadweight in concrete slabs. The
Cobiax technology was used in the construction of Parkroyal on Pickering.

TSG
emphasis heavily on worksite health and safety and ensured that governmental
law and regulations are followed through. This awareness leads to the company to
win several local and international safety awards (Appendix A). Since 2007, TSG
was given United Kingdom’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents
(RoSPA) Gold Award for excellence in managing health and safety issues.

The
company is financially strong and stable. For the financial year 2016, the
